Paula Abdul broke her nose this past weekend...Why?

A spokesperson for the American Idol judge tells TV's Extra that over the weekend, Abdul tripped trying to avoid her chihuahua, Tulip. As a result of the fall, she broke her nose.

Abdul was not hospitalized, but we really hope she wears something on her nose on the AMERICAN IDOL finales this week @ the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

Did she trip over the wagon to avoid her dog???

Jack Valenti...seen here with the Hilton Sisters has Died today

Jack Valenti, the colorful, charismatic head of the Motion Picture Assn. of America for almost four decades and the prime mover behind the movie ratings system, died Thursday. He was 85.

Valenti had checked out of Johns Hopkins University Medical Center on Wednesday where he was hospitalized after suffering a stroke.

A private mass celebrating the life of Jack Valenti will be held in Washington. The family will announce details in the coming days.

Myspace Launches New Site In China.....called MYSPACE.CN

NEW YORK (Reuters) - News Corp.'s MySpace launched a test in China this week, extending the popular social network into the one of the fastest-growing regions of the globe, the companies involved said on Thursday.

MySpace China (http://www.myspace.cn) is a locally owned, operated and managed company that has secured investment from Rupert Murdoch's MySpace Inc., publisher IDG and China Broadband Capital Partners L.P., a fund operated by Edward Tian, the former chief of China Netcom Group.

Social networks like MySpace and Facebook let users share pictures, music, videos and blogs. Popularized by teenagers interested in music, MySpace attracted close to 100 million unique users in March, according to comScore Media Metrics.

China Capital Partners' Luo Chuan, the former head of Microsoft Corp.'s MSN China, will be the chief executive of MySpace China.

"Based on the MySpace global brand and technology platform, we will develop products and features that are tailored to today's Chinese citizens," Luo said in a prepared statement.

MySpace China faces stiff competition from major local players including Sina Corp. and Sohu. Sina had 20 percent of China's online ad market in the first half of 2006, iResearch said.

A representative for MySpace China declined to specify which of the investors is the controlling shareholder or the percentage each investor contributed.

The highly anticipated launch is part of MySpace's aggressive global expansion strategy that has seen the launch of a division targeting Latin American countries and a U.S. Spanish-language site this week.

It will operate in about 20 global regions including Germany, Japan and Spain by the middle of the year. News Corp. struck a joint venture deal last November with Japan Internet and telecoms group Softbank Corp. to launch a version of MySpace in Japan.

The China region site is adapted from the U.S. version but "is not yet optimized to fully meet the needs of Chinese users and we continue to improve products and services," Luo said.

The new logo for the site is translated as "Friend You. Friend Me."

$150,000 water damage to Lindsay Lohan's Boyfriend's Condo...

Lindsay Lohan's bathroom taps were reportedly left on while she was out of
town, flooding her ex-boyfriend's apartment on the floor below.

It had been reported the pipes in the 'Mean Girls' star's condo, in West
Hollywood's Sierra Towers, had burst, flooding Hard Rock café heir Harry
Morton's home.

But an incident report filed by security officers has revealed they found
the taps left on when they arrived on the scene.

"Officer's entered the
unit and walked into the master bathroom and found the water overflowing in
the bathtub. It seems that they left the faucet on. I turned it off."

Sources say the damage to Morton's apartment has been estimated at over
$150,000 and he wants Lohan to pay for the repairs.

Lindsay's representative has described the incident as "suspicious", saying:
"Lindsay and her assistant, Jenny, were in New York on the night in
question.

"We're very suspicious."

However, a paparazzi agency has a video which reportedly shows Lohan at a
Los Angeles nightclub on the night in question.

The singer-and-actress dated Morton, 25, last summer.

The pair were said to be "inseparable" at first, but the relationship
fizzled out after a few months.

Natalie may be looking pretty low key at LAX this week, but any Portman is a treat. Plus, somehow even in the most casual outfit she looks pretty effortlessly cool. On a semi-related note, watching Nat's hair grow out after shaving it off in V for Vendetta (it's so long now!) gives me hope for Brit. Though, to be fair, it would be hard to measure up to Natalie Cute-man's cute-ness with the buzz cut...Natalie Portman to star in forthcoming Indiana Jones!!!! Yes it's TRUE...Some secrets are too good to keep. Someone has let it slip that actress Natalie Portman will co-star in the fourth installment of the Indiana Jones film series. The news was accidentally announced by actress Karen Allen, who starred as Indiana Jones' love interest Marion Ravenwood, in the 1981 original Raiders of the Lost Ark. During an interview, Allen blurted, "I just heard Natalie Portman was cast as Indy's daughter". Apparently, after realizing her slip, she quickly redirected the conversation.

Portman, who recently starred in the film adaptation of V For Vendetta, was likely considered for the role due to her work with Indiana Jones writer George Lucas, who directed her in her role as Queen Padmé Amidala in the three Star Wars prequels.

Other actors rumored to appear in the fourth Indiana Jones film include Donnie Darko and Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal and 007 himself, Sean Connery, who starred has Jones' father in 1989s Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
